Cookie Policy
We keep this simple: we use only what the site needs to work, plus a first-party record of where visits come from. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.

1. About this policy
This policy explains how Manavizha Invitations (invitation.manavizha.com), operated by Akmo Solutions Private Limited, uses cookies and similar technologies such as your browser's local storage and session storage. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser features that let a site remember information on your device. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab; cookies and local storage remain until they expire or you clear them.
3. What we use and why
3.1 Strictly necessary (always on)
These are needed for the service to work and cannot be switched off in our site.
- Sign-in session (local storage,
mvi-auth) — keeps you signed in to your account securely. - Invitation password unlock (cookie, set only when a guest opens a password-protected invitation) — remembers that the correct password was entered, so the guest isn't asked again. It expires automatically.
- Drafts and editor data (local storage) — saves invitations you design before signing in, and the details you enter in “Create by chat”, so nothing is lost if you close the page.
- Payments — when you pay, our payment partner Cashfree Payments opens its secure checkout and may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and to complete the payment. These are governed by Cashfree's policies.
- Security and load balancing — our hosting providers (Vercel and Supabase) may set technical cookies to protect the site from abuse and route requests reliably.
3.2 Preferences
- Interface choices (local / session storage) — for example that you dismissed a notice, skipped the upgrade prompt for an invitation, or already sent your platform information this session.
3.3 First-party traffic measurement
- Visit source (local storage
mvi-visitor,mvi-attr-first; session storage) — a random visitor ID and where your visit came from (for example a Google search, an Instagram link, or a campaign link with UTM tags). We use this only to see which channels bring visitors, sign-ups and sales. It is stored on our own systems, is not shared with advertisers, and does not track you on other websites.
3.4 What we don't use
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, social-media tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that build a profile of you across websites. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
4. Third-party content
Some invitations embed content from other services — for example Google Maps for directions, or a YouTube or other live-stream link added by the host. When you view or open that content, the provider may set its own cookies under its own policy.
5. Our Android app
The Manavizha Invitations app shows parts of this website inside the app, so the same storage described above is used within the app. Clearing the app's storage from your phone's settings removes it.
6. Managing cookies and storage
You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings (usually under Privacy → Cookies and site data). If you block strictly necessary storage, you may be signed out, lose unsaved drafts, or be unable to open password-protected invitations or complete payments. Clearing site data also resets the traffic-source record.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our service changes. The “last updated” date at the top shows the latest version.
